J. Templeman Coolidge Scrapbook, 1922-1967.

Scrapbook includes a variety of images and articles pertaining to ships and ship models. Creator paid particular attention to the Frigate Constitution and the Ship Niagara. Several pages were taken from "Old Times Ships of Salem" providing written information and an image for each ship. Articles pertaining to Robert Fulton and Commodore Oliver H. Perry are also included. The 1967 article relates the story of the beheading of the Frigate Constitution, which reports on the loss of the figurehead of Andrew Jackson.
